• Full Name and Email Address: We collect your full name and email address when you choose to log in using our designated authentication method -- Google Firebase. This information is used for identifying your account, managing your access to the service, personalizing your experience, and necessary service-related communication.

• Information from Third-Party Providers: If you choose to log in via a third-party service (like Google through Firebase Authentication), we collect the name and email address provided to us by that service, in accordance with their terms and your privacy settings on that service.

1.2 Other Information We Collect

• Device ID: A user's Device ID, used to access the app, undergoes a one-way hash before being stored on our backend servers. This information is irreversibly encrypted. The developers cannot access the original Device ID, and we will only use this information for technical or security purposes, or as required by law, unless we obtain consent from you for other uses. This hashed ID may be associated with your account for technical linkage or security validation.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

• User data including associated book content are stored on our backend systems and deleted after 90 days of inactivity.

• You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data in the app itself by clicking on the User icon on the top right in Home screen and then selecting "Delete Account"

• In the instance Dialogue retains your information beyond the timeline stated above, all your personal information and identifies shall be anonymised before retaining such information, provided such anonymization is prohibited under an applicable law. 

1.3 Automatically Collected Information

When you use Dialogue, we automatically collect certain information about your interactions, including but not limited to:

• User actions performed within or on Dialogue (e.g., clicks on buttons, usage of features).

2. Ownership of Content

The rights to Dialogue's service and the content distributed through the service are and will remain with Dialogue and/or Dialogue's licensors. Our Platform Content is usually protected by copyrights and may not be redistributed by you. The Dialogue software applications and Platform Content are licensed to you within the scope of the contractual use. We only grant you a non-exclusive (simple), time-limited right to personal use of the Dialogue service and its contents, associated with your user account.
